Jer 17:7 “But I will bless any man who trusts in me. I will show my favor to the one who depends on me.
Jer 17:8 He will be like a tree that is planted near water. It sends out its roots beside a stream. It is not afraid when heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It does not worry when there is no rain. It always bears fruit.”
The King has promised that anyone who believes what he says and submits to his authority will be blessed and protected. They will be like a tree that is deeply planted by a great river. Its roots go deep and it’s never thirsty. Neither heat nor drought cause harm. Its foliage remains lush, and it never ceases to bear fruit. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
The Lord said, anyone who accepts my authority and believes what I say, will be like a tree, deeply planted by the water. Even thru the heat and the drought, it’s leaves remain green and it will always bear fruit.
Its roots will find water, its leaves will remain fresh, and it will continue to bear fruit. The heat and the drought can not hurt it and it will not be afraid.
In the Beginning was the Word
When you believe what I say and accept my authority, you will live like the tree deeply planted, whose roots are never thirsty. Even when it is hot and dry, you will still bear fruit; your leaves will not fall.
