I come before you Father, through Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, to ask for your guidance today and thank you for everything you do.
·Direct my thinking, so that I will consider others.
·Give me the ability to focus on the task before me.
·Being forgiven through Jesus sacrifice, I thank you for accepting me in spite of my sins, lack of love and my self-obsession.
·I ask for the new pair of glasses that I might see the good in the world and love the people I come in contact with.
·Change my perspective, making me see the world as you want me to see it, and not as I perceive it.
·Make my heart pure, my words truthful, my actions kind, and my thoughts unselfish.
Blessed be the Holy Spirit empowering me, Jesus for making it possible for me to come before you, and Father, thank you for everything you do! Thy will be done!

God, I offer myself to thee, to build with me and to do with me as thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do thy will. Take away my character defects that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of thy power, thy love, and thy way of life. May I do thy will always!

Give me strength oh Lord, this day, to do thy will, and walk thy way.
Help me to be wise and kind, and give me Lord that peace of mind
that comes to those who are content to live each day as it is sent.
Give me grace to understand the frailties of my fellow man.
Give me patience for each task. All this, for thine own sake, I ask.

All glory and honor and praise to the Father
All Heaven and Earth rejoice
For Jesus came down and suffered for people
to free us from bondage to sin and to self
I ask you, God, to direct my thinking, that it be divorced from self-pity, dishonest or self-seeking motives. When I face indecision, please give me inspiration, an intuitive thought or a decision. Relax and take it easy. Don’t struggle. My thought-life will be placed on a much higher plane when my thinking is cleared of wrong motives.
Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” He forgot to mention that I was the chief critic. I was always able to see the flaw in every person, every situation, and I was always glad to point it out. When I complain about me or about you, I’m complaining about God’s work.
When I make judgements about myself or others, I am playing God, Only God has the right to judge, forgive me Father.
And if I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation, some fact of my life not to my liking, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as it is. Only God is powerful enough to control all things. He seems to prefer to make some things come out right without changing them. Pray
When I am afraid, it is because I fear losing something I have, or losing something I want. Unless I accept life on life’s terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes. So I choose to stop fighting everything and everyone.
Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference
As I review my plans for the day, I ask God, what can I do for others, what can I add to the stream of life today. My goal is to be kind and loving toward all. Acceptance has taught me that there is a bit of good in the worst of us and a bit of bad in the best of us We are all God’s creation and we each have a right to be here. This is the way it is in God’s world.
Every day is a day when I must carry the vision of God’s will into all of my activities. “How can I best serve Thee – Thy will (not mine) be done.” These are thoughts which must go with me constantly. I can exercise my will power along this line all that I wish. It is the proper use of the will.

Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry a heavy load. I will give you rest. Come with me, I will carry your load and you can carry mine, for my load is light. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart. You will find rest for your souls, and I will never overload you.
Do not set your heart upon what is visible, but upon what is invisible, for what is visible will pass away, but what is invisible will last forever.
Cry out to me when you are ready to welcome me into your life, for I will hear you. When you seek me with all your heart, you will find me and I will come to you. Depend on me and I will lead you.

The Holy Spirit strengthens us, encourages us, and teaches us to love, but anxiety, doubt, and fear are not from above. – Timothy 1:7
God, I offer myself to thee, to build with me and to do with me as thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do they will.
Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of thy power, thy love, and thy way of life. May I do thy will always!
If you don’t think of others first, you will be out of touch with what’s going on around you. You’ll be operating blind, missing opportunites, deadlines, and your responsibilities to serve others; you won’t know what they need, want or expect. You won’t be useful to your fellow man.
Therefore I say to you, whatever you ask when you pray, believe that you receive, and you will have it.

“I will speak only when I’m positive that what I’ll say will help, is completely accurate, and is not based on selfish motives”
4 Absolutes:
Honesty, Purity, Unselfishness, and Love.
Is it True, Pure, Unselfish, and Loving
Pure = right or wrong
Love is an action, are we acting in love, because in giving love we get love
“Instead of worrying about what you can’t control,
shift your energy to what you can.”
Selfishness – self-centeredness! That, we think, is the root of our troubles. Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, self-seeking, and self-pity, we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate. Sometimes they hurt us, seemingly without provocation, but we invariably find that at some time in the past we have made decisions based on self which later placed us in a position to be hurt.
So our troubles, we think, are basically of our own making. They arise out of ourselves, and the alcoholic is an extreme example of self-will run riot, though he usually doesn’t think so. Above everything, we alcoholics must be rid of this selfishness. We must, or it kills us! God makes that possible. And there often seems no way of entirely getting rid of self without His aid. Many of us had moral and philosophical convictions galore, but we could not live up to them even though we would have liked to. Neither could we reduce our self-centeredness much by wishing or trying on our own power. We had to have God’s help.
This is the how and why of it. First of all, we had to quit playing God. It didn’t work. Next, we decided that hereafter in this drama of life, God was going to be our Director. He is the Principal; we are His agents. He is the Father, and we are His children. Most good ideas are simple, and this concept is the keystone of the new and triumphant arch through which we pass to freedom.

Were we kind and loving toward all? What could we have done better? Were we thinking of ourselves most of the time? OR were we thinking of what we could do for others, of what we could pack into the stream of life? Has selfishness or fear diminished our usefulness to others?
Cultivate an attitude of awareness and adapt to other people’s methods instead of pushing for your own. If you don’t think of others first, you will be out of touch with what’s going on around you. You’ll be operating blind, missing opportunities, deadlines, and your responsibilities to serve others; you won’t know what they need, want or expect. You won’t be useful to your fellow man.
